RotaScope Classic Cabinet

Humidity - Cabinet
The humidity inside the Scope Cabinet – this can be
viewed on the Main Screen of the Cabinet Control
Screen located on the cabinet door/s

Instruction For Use
IQ-OQ-PQ
Install Qualification – IQ – askes if the install
environment is suitable (Room, position, connection)
Operation Qualification
– OQ – asks if the RotaScope
is set up correctly to suit the department, users, and
scope list
Performance Qualification
– PQ – is the biological
test routine signifying that the use, cleaning and
operation of the cabinet is delivering correct
outcomes over time
Described in EN1644:2015 and AS4187 Standards
Magenta
Colour also referred to as PURPLE – signifying a
power outage has occurred – the cabinet lighting
turns purple after a power outage, when the power
resumes
Manifold
The Manifold also called the “Vacuum Connection
Block” is located on the Centre Pole –
The Manifold
features Luer connection nipples that connect
scope channels via Colour Coded Connection
Hoses to the Vacuum air flow for drying the scope
channels (Lumens) Match hose colour to the
coloured stickers to ensure correct connection
OOC
“Out of Cabinet” Time – Displayed on Main Cabinet
Control Screen – OOC is the recorded countdown
time that a scope is not in the cabinet – OOC is a
total of 3 hours (180 Minutes) – OOC starts upon
swiping the barcode of the scope upon removal
from the AER (Washer)
– count down stops when the
scope is loaded into the cabinet – OOC Countdown
resumes when a scope is taken out of a cabinet to
be moved or used, and if the scope is returned to
the cabinet the countdown is deducted from
remaining OOC time and displayed on the Main
Cabinet Control Screen.
The aim of OOC Time is to ensure that scopes are
dried within three hours of decontamination and
OOC manages the exposure of clean scopes to
uncontrolled environments
Pass Through
RotaScope Cabinets may be configured with an
optional rear door, enabling the cabinet to be
installed in-wall, allowing scopes to be loaded on
one side (Front door), stored, and unloaded on the
opposite side (Rear Door)

and infection control
