To connect computer 1 to the X-Port 10, wireless keyboard and power
bar:
1. For a Windows computer, connect the DB9 serial cable #10 (originating at the X-
Port 10) to a vacant COM port.
NOTE : Determine if a DB25 or DB9 female connection is required by counting the pins
in the vacant COM port on the rear of the internal computer: A DB25 COM port has 25
pins to connect with the 25 holes on a DB25 port adaptor; a DB-9 COM port has nine
pins to connect with the nine holes on a DB9 port adaptor. If your computer has a 25-
pin COM port use the DB9-to-DB25 adaptor (#19) in the Accessory Kit.
For a Macintosh computer, insert the barrel-shaped Mini DIN8 connector end of
the Macintosh serial adaptor (#16, located in the Accessory Kit) into the printer or
modem port. Connect the DB9 connector to serial cable #10.

2. Connect the 3.5mm audio cable #44 (originating at the X-Port 10) to the Audio Line
Out jack on the back of the computer.
3. Connect the HD DB15 video cable #20 (originating at the X-Port 10) to the video port
on the computer.
For a Macintosh computer, connect the Macintosh Video Adaptor (#15, located in the
Accessory Kit) to the video port. Connect the DB15 connector to HD DB15 video cable
#20.
4. If you're using a wireless keyboard, connect the IR Receiver cable #6a (keyboard) and
#6b (mouse), both originating at the IR Receiver, to the computer’s keyboard and
mouse ports.
5. Connect the computer’s power cable to the power bar. (Ensure that the on/off switch
is in the “off” position before making this connection.)
NOTE : Cabinets shipped in North America and Japan are supplied with an internal
power bar and an on/off switch that controls the power bar. Users outside North
America and Japan must supply their own power bar, which should be placed in an
easy-to-reach location.
