On the underside of the telescoping beam, you'll see some calibration marks and an
indexing tab that protrudes from the main beam end plate. Line up the indexing tab with
the proper calibration mark for your projector and model of SMART Board interactive
whiteboard. This information is found on the

To attach the projector mount to the boom:

1 

Obtain your projector mount from the projector kit.

2 

Slide the mount into the gap in the cover at the end of the boom.

3 

Look at the projector mount from above. For the two outer locations shown below, insert
an inside star washer and a TORX fastener. Use the supplied TORX security key to
tighten these fasteners.

4 

Place the tie wrap mount so the hole in the mount aligns with the center hole. Slide the third
TORX fastener through the tie wrap mount and into the center hole. This mount will hold
the tie wrap, which will secure the projector cables coming out of the boom.
