Contact SMA if this error occurs frequently.
Offset Error in the acquisition of measurement data. Contact SMA if this
error occurs frequently.
Riso A grounding error has occurred, or one of the thermally monitored
varistors on the DC input side is defective as a result of overvoltage.
Consult a trained electrician to have the fault corrected. You can
find instructions on how to change the varistors in the installation
manual.
ROM The Windy Boy firmware is faulty. Contact SMA if this error occurs
frequently.
Shutdown Temporary Windy Boy fault
Trafo-Temp-F Unacceptably high temperatures have occurred at the transformer.
The Windy Boy stops feeding the grid until the temperature lies
within the acceptable range once more. If this error occurs
frequently, check the heat dissipation.
Trafo-Temp-W If the transformer reaches an unacceptably high temperature, the
Windy Boy stops feeding the grid until the transformer has returned
to an acceptable temperature and grid feeding can resume. The
Trafo-Temp-W warning is displayed until the next time the device is
switched off. Check the Windy Boy's heat dissipation.
Vac-Bfr /
Vac-Srr The grid current is no longer within the permissible range ("Bfr" and
"Srr" are internal messages which have no meaning for the user).
The Vac error can have the following causes:
•
Grid disconnected (circuit breaker or fuse)
• AC cable is broken
• AC cable has a high internal resistance
For reasons of safety, the Windy Boy disconnects itself from the grid.
Check the grid voltage and the grid connection at the Windy Boy.
If the grid voltage lies outside the acceptable range because of local
grid conditions, ask the grid operator if the voltages can be adjusted
at the feed-in point, or if they agree to changes in the values of the
monitored operational limits.
If the grid voltage lies within the tolerance range, yet "Vac-Bfr" or
"Vac-Srr" errors are still being displayed, contact the SMA hotline.
