3.2.3

Mobile ID

Each SG-7100 has a unique mobile ID to register it on the IsatData Pro network. The
mobile ID is located on the SkyWave label on the bottom of the SG-7100 below the
barcode. This is a 15-digit alphanumeric identifier in the format
NNNNNNNNSKYXXXX. The mobile ID is also listed on the outside of the shipping
box.

Record the mobile ID for future reference.

3.3

Install the SIM Card (optional)

The SG-7100 requires an installed SIM card to access cellular connectivity.

The base unit includes a single SIM card slot (single card - Section 3.3.1), while the
optional Telematics card provides two additional slots (multiple cards - Section 5).

The SIM card should be purchased from a service provider serving the area where the
unit operates and must be activated for use with a cellular network.

Note:

If using a single SIM card use the main slot on the base unit. If using two SIM
cards use both the slots on the Telematics card, do not insert one of the cards
into the main base unit.

CAUTION

Never insert or remove the SIM card if there
is power to the SG-7100. This could result in
physical damage to the SIM card.

Note:

Ensure you are using a SIM card associated with an active data plan.
