Component Identification Section 2 - Operation
2.5-2 Operator’s Cab Controls
1. Level Indicator - This level indicator allows
the operator to determine the left to right level
condition of the telehandler.
2. Wiper Switch - This switch turns wiper on or off.
3. Hourmeter - This gauge records accumulated
operating time of the telehandler.
4. Transmission Control Lever - This lever selects
forward or reverse travel. The center position
is neutral. To select forward travel, push lever
forward; for reverse travel pull lever backward.
Twist handle grip to select speed range.
5. Steering Wheel - Turn the steering wheel to
the left or right to steer the telehandler in the
corresponding direction. Three steering modes
are available (refer to
Section 2.9-4 ).
6. Heater Fan Switch (If Equipped) - This switch
selects fan speed.
7. Boom/Attachment Controller - This dual-axis
joystick controls boom raise/lower and extend/
retract functions. The joystick returns to neutral
when released. The thumb button on top of
joystick selects the attachment tilt function.
To raise boom, pull joystick backward. To lower
boom, push joystick forward.
To extend boom, move joystick right. To retract
boom, move joystick left.
To tilt attachment forward, depress and hold
thumb button while moving joystick forward. To
tilt attachment backward, depress and hold thumb
button while moving joystick backward.
