4.3 Modular System
The inlet can be assembled from modules in a number of different ways. However, the inlets may be
assembled only in such a way that guide pins and fastening screws can be used; i.e. the inlets may only be
assembled above/below or next to each other. Always assemble the inlets with the guide pins and
fastening screws before they are build-in/casted in.
When inlets are assembled in blocks of, for example, two or four, insulate the inlets with foam tape or
polystyrene in the ribs between the inlets (i.e. insulate once per assembly).
Then assemble the inlets using the guide pins, see below.
Secure the inlets using the fastening screws in front of the guide pins (use screw kit 433022).
Assemble the inlets before building them into or installing them in the wall.
Break off the moulded guide pins and
place them in the pre-formed holes on
the rib. Then assemble the inlets.
Secure the inlets using the fastening screws. Use three screws in the
bottom and one in the side of the inlet.
