. Attach the foot control (optional) to the foot section of

the bed.

. Plug the bed into a 120V AC grounded outlet. At this point, the bed should be fully

functional. Using the hand control, check the function of each button to make sure that

the bed is functioning correctly. If for some reason the bed is not working, review these

steps while checking the connections of the electrical components.

WARNING:

To avoid electrical shock when plugging this bed into the wall

outlet, only use grounded or hospital grade outlets.

WARNING:

Follow EMC guidelines and safety precautions when the bed is

connected to powered source (page 3

).

Radio wave sources such as radio stations, TV stations, amateur radio (HAM)

transmitters, two-way radios and cellular phones can affect this bed. Following

the warnings listed for electromagnetic interference should reduce the chance

of the bed’s unintended movement that could result in serious injury.
