Archimede Portable Dataloggers User Manual
rev.5 -03.12.2019-
DLs have a permanent memory used to store configuration data, such as Probes and Inclinometer
Tubes, as well as data acquired from inclinometer tests.
Despite the memory maximum capacity is remarkable (2GB), the export and synchronization speed
of the DL connected to the PC depends on the data quantity.
We suggest to not charge excessively the DL memory and to use it only to save DL
files
All data in a DL are divided in sites: how to define sites is a user responsibility.
However, we advise to name these sites with the real name of the fields sites in
which the measurements are performed.
To view the site list , select
Configuration
in the main menu, then select
Sites
. The list of sites is
initially empty. To add a new site, make sure that the text box at the bottom of the screen is active
(you should see a flashing cursor in it) and type the name for the new site, then press
ENTER
.
