7.6. Contrast Setting
Contrast is the difference in brightness between the light and dark areas of an image.
To change the image's contrast
1. Select a higher value for greater contrast (and a lighter
image) and a lower number for less contrast (and a darker
image).
2. Press
SET
to confirm the new setting.
7.7. Digital Zoom Setting
Digital zoom takes a portion of the image and expands that
portion to the full size of the image. The camera's digital zoom is
adjustable from x1 to x12 at VGA resolution.
To adjust the camera's digital zoom
1. Select a value from
x1
(no zoom) to
12x
(full zoom).
2. Press
SET
to confirm the new setting.
please note Digital zoom, by its nature, reduces image quality.
7.8. IR Filter Setting
When the IR function is On, the camera removes the IR cut filter
for clearer images in low-light conditions. When off, the filter is
returned. Whether set to On, Off, or Auto, the camera detects the
light conditions and behaves accordingly.
To adjust the camera's IR filter
3. Select
On
(IR cut filter removed),
Off
(IR cut filter in place) or
Auto
.
4. Press
SET
to confirm the new setting.
