System Settings
To change the administrator's password
1. Type the new password in the boxes labelled
Root password
and
Confirm password
.
The maximum length of the password is 14 characters. This input is displayed as dots
for security purposes.
2. Click
Save
.
The web browser will ask the administrator for the new password for continued access.
important The following characters are valid for passwords:
A-Z, a-z, 0-9, !#$%&'-.@^_~.
5.2.2. Add user
To add a user
1. Click
User management
in the left-hand column as shown in figure 5.3.
2. In the
New User
section, type the new user's name and password.
3. Set the user's permissions by checking the boxes labelled
System
,
Steaming
, and
Camera
as appropriate.
These permissions are described in section 5.2.3.
4. Click
Add
to add the new user.
The new user will be displayed in the user name list.
please note User names and passwords are limited to 16 characters in length. This
camera supports a maximum of twenty user accounts.
5.2.3. User permissions
The Siqura FD2x series of cameras supports four permissions that control access to the
corresponding web page sections:
Home , System , Streaming , and Camera .
System
This privilege is intended for administrative use only and includes rights to all the
configuration settings on the System page (those described in Section 5 of this manual).
Camera
The Camera functions, described in section 7, Camera Settings, allow the user to edit the
parameters on the Camera page.
Streaming
The Streaming functions allow the user to modify the video and audio parameters as
described in section 6, Video and Audio Streaming.
