System Settings
To use DDNS
1. Enable DHCP as described in section 5.3.1, and select
Acquire IP address automatically
.
2. In the left-hand menu, select
DDNS
as shown in figure 5.8.
3. Check the box labelled
Enable DDNS
.
4. Select the DDNS provider from the list labelled Provider.
5. Type the registered domain name in the Host name field.
6. In the Username/E-mail field type the username or e-mail required by the DDNS
provider for authentication.
7. In the Password/Key field type the password or key required by the DDNS provider for
authentication, and click
Save
.
5.5. Mail
The Administrator can send an e-mail via Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) when an
alarm is triggered. SMTP is a protocol for sending e-mail messages between servers. The
mail configuration page is shown in figure 5.9.
