4. Frequently asked questions
I’ve got a device and it doesn’t detect it.
· Check power and communication wiring.
· Check A and B polarity.
· Check it doesn’t have the same channel as another device.
2 devices come on at the same time and they are not related.
· Check they don’t have the same channel.
A device doesn’t respond to my orders and acts randomly.
· Check that the A and B buses are properly connected at all points of the installation.
I’ve got a button box and it doesn’t detect it.
· Check its wiring, both power and DMX communication.
· It is possible that the button box has an internal channel that is already in use, especially if it is a button box
that has already been installed in another installation. In this case, delete all the channels and activate the
automatic search for the new acknowledgment of the button box.
An external device compatible with DMX is flickering.
· Check that its assigned channel is higher than 20.
LThe blind doesn’t respond to the adjustment applied.
· Check that it has been correctly calibrated.
· Recalibrate it.
The light has gone off and the blind is not responding correctly.
· It must be recalibrated or moved up to one of the two ends.
I have a 0-10 regulator and the load turns on full but doesn’t adjust.
· Check that 0-10 V is reaching it correctly.
The electronic transformer regulator module is not working, it’s jammed.
· Check that the load doesn’t have a short-circuit.
If the electronic transformer regulator module is working normally and it suddenly goes down to
minimum setting and I can’t adjust it, what is wrong?
· The device’s temperature is too high, check the installation.
If the electronic regulator module is working correctly and turns off, what is wrong?
· It is overloaded, check the installation.
If you do a search and it doesn’t find the electronic transformer regulator module, what’s wrong?
· Check connection A, B and power cable.
· Check that the device has a load connected in good condition.
I have a luminaire that when I turn it off it flickers.
· Increase on the console the minimum setting value, because this luminaire’s power source does not admit
low setting voltage values and causes the luminaire to flicker. Limiting setting values, see page 99.
