SYSTEM OPERATIONS-45
FRESH WATER SYSTEM
The purpose of the Fresh Water System is
to provide a supply of pressurized portable
water to the Galley, Heads, and Transom
Exterior Shower on demand and as needed.
Your
45C has two (2) separate sources that
are independent of each other and they are
identi
fi ed as follows:
Fresh Water Pump System
Dockside Water Supply System
Fresh Water Pump System
The Fresh Water Pump System on your
45C consists of the following components:
Fresh Water Tanks
Fresh Water Pump
Fresh Water Lines

The fresh water tanks are located in the
engine room. There are two tanks, one
on the outboard side of each engine. The
Mechanical Schematic in the SCHEMATICS
SECTION of this manual shows the location
of the fresh water tanks. They are
fi lled
through a fi ll fi tting that is marked “WATER”
on the fi ll cap, which is located on the port
side of the deck. The photo below shows
the water
fi ll.
The Deck Layout in the Schematics Section
of this manual will show the location of the
Fresh Water Fill.
Fill the fresh water tank ONLY with
portable water that is safe for drinking.
DO NOT
fi ll with water that may be of
questionable quality as serious illness
or death may occur.
Fresh Water Pump:
The fresh water pump is located under the
water heater platform in the engine room.
