Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally
friendly materials which you can dispose
of through the local recycling centres.
Do not dispose of the product with
domestic waste, but instead use the
communal collecting centres for material
recycling. You can find out the options
open to you for disposing of your used
appliance from your municipal or city
council.
Batteries must be recycled in accordance
with Directive 2006/66/EC and must
not be disposed of with household waste.
Every consumer is legally obliged to hand
in all batteries/rechargeable batteries at
a collection point in their municipality/
district or in a shop. This obligation aims
to ensure that batteries are disposed of in
an environmentally friendly manner. Only
return batteries when they have been ful-
ly discharged. Batteries must be removed
from the appliance before disposal.
Please pay attention to the labels on the
packaging materials when separating
waste; these are marked with
abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) that
mean the following: 1–7: Plastics/20–22:
Paper and cardboard/80–98: Composite
materials.
