Troubleshooting
The application
cannot find the
camera
Make sure your home network supports the DHCP protocol .
Make sure the router/Wi-Fi router and the camera is on .
Make sure the camera and your smart device are connected to the same
Wi-Fi router during initial configuration .
Make sure all the cables were properly connected .
Use the "Add Device" function to manually add the camera .
No image
appears
Make sure the smart device is connected to 3G/4G/Wi-Fi properly .
Make sure the camera is properly configured .
Poor image
quality
Clean the camera lens using a slightly moistened cloth .
Other wireless devices may reduce the signal strength . Leave as much space
as possible between the camera and other wireless devices .
Image flickers
Make sure to select the appropriate "Environment Mode" setting .
Motion detection
is not working
properly
Make sure the sensitivity setting is enabled .
Clean the sensor with a slightly moist cloth . Accumulated dirt and lint may
obstruct the motion detector sensor .
Check if the masking was programmed incorrectly .
Cannot record
video clips
Make sure the microSD card has been correctly inserted and formatted .
Make sure the motion detection function has been enabled .
E-mail alert is not
working
Make sure the email alert function is enabled .
Make sure the e-mail address has been correctly entered .
White spots
appear at night
time shooting
The camera's infrared LEDs produce invisible light that reflects off glossy or
reflective surfaces, such as glass . Check and, if needed, change the camera
angle / Install the camera under a well-lit area .
microSD card
error
Make sure the microSD card is correctly inserted and formatted .
Make sure to use an Class 10 rated microSD card or faster .
Format the microSD card when it is used for the first time .
Wi-Fi router
cannot be found
Make sure SSID broadcasting function is enabled . Consult your Wi-Fi router
manufacturer if necessary .
Refer to the user manual of the Wi-Fi router .
Contact the system administrator of your network .
