7. Using the mixing
tools
Lifting up the drive arm
1. Press the unlock button 11 and fold up
the drive arm 19 until it engages and
the unlock button 11 pops out again.
Inserting the mixing bowl
2. Put the mixing bowl 16 into the base
unit 17 .
3. Lock the mixing bowl 16 by turning it
towards the closed lock symbol until it is
firmly seated.
Mounting the splash guard
CAUTION:
~
Never use the mixing bowl 16 without
the splash guard 18 attached. The ma-
terial you are mixing could otherwise
be ejected.
4. Place the splash guard 18 onto the
drive arm 19 from below. The arrow
(
S
) on the splash guard 18 and the ar-
row (
T
) on the drive arm 19 point to
one another.
5. Rotate the splash guard 18 in the direc-
tion of the closed lock symbol until it
clicks into place.
Inserting the mixing tool
6. Select the appropriate mixing tool:
- Dough hook 22 : for heavy doughs,
e.g. bread dough
- Whisk 21 : for whipping cream, egg
white etc.
- Beater 20 : for light dough or batter,
e.g. cake mix or pancake batter.
