5.1.2 Fibre Cable Connections
The AP0 and AP1 fibre channel connections connect the 400T/TX to the customer’s host
systems.
1. Locate the fibre cable(s) installed by the customer and verify that they have been labeled
with the customer nomenclature.
2. Run the cables up through the rear left side hole in the cabinet bottom.
•
If the customer is dropping the cables down from the ceiling, route the fibre cables down
through the hole in the top, rear left side of the cabinet.
3. Connect the cables to the fibre channel ports, AP0-F0 , AP0-F1 , AP0-F2 and AP0-F3 on the
IO bulkhead per the customer connection requirements.
4. For a second Application Processor, route and connect the cable to the fibre channel ports
AP1-F0 , AP1-F1 , AP1-F2 and AP1-F3 .
5. Dress and tie-wrap the cable in place, as necessary.
