Best Practices

• Always stop the car from charging and unplug the car before a charger power cycle.

• Power cycle Wi-Fi modem/router before troubleshooting begins (unplug and plug back in).

• Have the homeowner connect a Wi-Fi enabled device to the Wi-Fi network that they are planning to use
for the charger and test.

• Signal strength at installation location.

• Accessing a web page (if Google is used then ask them to actually search for something and wait for
results to come up)

• Have the homeowner download the smartphone app Fing to ping devices and locate IP addresses
