Purpose: 

Setting the upper alarm value 

Description: 

This parameter allows you to set the value of the upper alarm limit in the unit 

of the selected measurement type. 

"3.8.1.7 Hysteresis" 

 

Factory setting: 

0 

Setting range: 

In the unit of the selected measuring mode 

Purpose: 

Setting the limit transmitter hysteresis 

Description: 

This parameter allows you to set the switching threshold for disregarding 

changes in pressure that are too small. The parameter is the same for the 

upper and lower monitoring value.  

"3.8.1.8 Response Time"

Purpose: 

Setting the response time of the limit transmitter 

Description: 

This parameter allows you to set the time that should elapse after the limit 

value has been exceeded, before a warning or an alarm is triggered.

Purpose: 

Setting the holding time of the limit transmitter 

Description: 

This parameter allows you to set the time for which a warning or an alarm is 

output, even if the limit was exceeded or undershot for only a very brief 

period. 
Holding time with the value 0: Even when the event that triggered them no 

longer persists, warning and alarm messages remain outstanding until they 

are acknowledged by the user in the "3.8.2 Acknowledge" (Page 135) menu. 
Holding time with a value greater than 0: When the event that triggered 

them no longer persists, warning and alarm messages are canceled after 

the holding time is assigned parameters. 
Note:  

If after this time has expired the limit is exceeded or undershot again, this 

time starts afresh.
