Module exchange without PG/PC

Overview

If a defective C230-2 has to be exchanged and there is no PG/PC available, you
can only load your data from the Micro Memory Card to the new module.

Requirement

The requirement for this is that when you commissioned your project, as described
in Section 8.6, you saved from the Engineering System to the Micro Memory Card
with the menu command Copy RAM to ROM.

The following data are on the Micro Memory Card and can be transferred to the
new module:

Technology packages

User data

Baud rate

PROFIBUS DP addresses

IP address, subnet dialog box and router address

Note

The Retain variables are saved with their initial values!

The current values of the Retain variables are lost!

The diagnostics buffer is lost!
