WARNING
Fire due to high temperatures
During operation the surfaces reach temperatures that can inflict burns or start fires.
•
Remove any flammable materials from around the converter to reduce the risk of fire.
WARNING
Electric shock by unsuitable protection device
The converter can cause a direct current on the PE conductor. If the wrong type of
protection device is used, then the expected protection by such a device could fail to
provide the expected protection.
•
Use only a type B residual current device (RCD) to provide protection in case of direct or
indirect contact.
NOTICE
Damage by operation with unsuitable line systems
The operation with unsuitable line systems will damage the converter.
•
Operate the converter only on TT and TN line systems with grounded neutral point.
NOTICE
Burns due to high temperatures
During operation and for a short time after switching the converter off, the surfaces reach
temperatures that can inflict burns.
•
Before attempting to touch the surfaces of the converter, ensure that enough time is
given to allow the converter to cool down to a safe temperature to avoid personal injury.
Note
Fault protection for the motor circuit
The electronic overcurrent trip complies with the requirements laid down in IEC 60364-3-
2:2005/AMD1:- Section 411 for protection against electric shock.
•
Observe the installation specifications provided in this manual.
•
Observe the applicable installation standards.
•
Ensure the continuity of the protective conductor.
