Preconditions for basic commissioning

You require the following to commission the inverter using STARTER:

An installed drive (motor and inverter)

●

A computer with Windows XP or Windows 7

●

The installed STARTER V4.3 or higher.

Creating a project

Creating a new project

Procedure
1.

Start the commissioning software.

In the menu, select "Project"

→

"New…".

Specify a name of your choice for the project.

You have created a new project.

Transfer inverters connected via USB into the project

Integrating the inverter into the project

Procedure
1.

Switch on the inverter supply voltage.

First insert a USB cable into your PC and then into the inverter.

The PC operating system installs the USB driver when you are connecting the inverter

and PC together for the first time.

Press the "Accessible nodes" button.
