Parameterization via the RS485 interface or the expansion modules for

communication

Note
Requirement
In order to parameterize the device using powerconfig, you require the powerconfig software,

version 3.12 or higher.

Note: Parameterization can be performed not only via the existing RS485 interface COM1,

but also via expansion modules.

Procedure for parameterization
1.

Fit expansion module 3KC9000-8TL75 (Ethernet) if used. See chapter Inserting an

expansion module (Page 58).

Connect the expansion module or the RS485 interface to your PC using a suitable cable.
–

For the expansion module Ethernet see chapter Expansion module Ethernet

(Page 223).

Launch the powerconfig software.

Parameterize the device.

Further information on the subject of powerconfig can be found on the Internet.

The parameters of the ATC6500 that can be set are listed below. Due to the restricted

number of characters, abbreviations are used on the ATC6500. The full and precise

description of the parameters on the device can be seen in the tables below.
