The RUGGEDCOM RSG2300P is a rugged, Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled, fully
managed, modular Ethernet switch specifically designed to operate reliably in
electrically harsh and climatically demanding utility substation, railway and industrial
environments. The RUGGEDCOM RSG2300P’s superior rugged hardware design
coupled with the embedded Rugged Operating System (ROS) provides improved
system reliability and advanced cyber security and networking features, making it
ideally suited for creating Ethernet networks for mission-critical, real-time, control
applications.
The RUGGEDCOM RSG2300P is an ideal solution to power and connect several
Ethernet devices, such as IP phones, video cameras, and wireless access points,
where AC power is not available or where it is cost-prohibitive to provide locally.
The RUGGEDCOM RSG2300P additionally offers 802.3af standard Power over
Ethernet (PoE) on up to 4 10/100BaseTx ports. The RUGGEDCOM RSG2300P is an
ideal solution to power and connect several Ethernet devices (such as IP phones,
video cameras, and wireless access points) where AC power is not available or cost-
prohibitive to provide locally.
