2.5.2 Connecting External PoE Power
To connect an external power supply for the PoE ports, do the following:
NOTICE
Electrical hazard – risk of damage to equipment
Only connect the external PoE power supply to the terminals 5 and 7.
1. Remove the terminal block cover.
2. If a screw-type terminal block is installed, remove the screws from terminals
5 and 7. Use these screws along with #6 ring lugs to secure the wires to the
terminal block.
3. Connect the positive wire from the power source to terminal 5 (+/L) on the
terminal block.

4. Connect the negative wire from the power source to terminal 7 (-/N) on the
terminal block.
