This description is aimed at machine manufacturers and service personnel
and describes the use of the IM 328–N module in SINUMERIK and SIRO-
TEC as a slave in the ET 200 Distributed I/O System.

This manual provides information on

jumper settings on the module as well as interfaces and operating
elements

data required for configuring the module

installation and startup of the module

error messages and application examples
