Chapter 6

System components

Ribbon cable connections:

The ribbon cable has symmetrical
connectors, so that either connector
can be used for either connection.
To eliminate the risk of installing the
connector in the wrong orientation,
each connector of the ribbon cable
includes a keying/polarized feature,
which means that the connector can
only be installed the correct orientation.

Figures 6.31 and 6.32

show the

ribbon cable connection to the
controller board.
