Initial configuration

Initial configuration can be completed in just a few guided steps.

Prerequisites

All the HiPath BizIP components are installed

The required configuration list data

Page 13 is available.

•

A PC is available, providing you with access to your HiPath BizIP LAN.

•

The Microsoft Internet Explorer browser (V5.0 or later) is installed on
the PC. The HiPath BizIP currently only supports Microsoft
Internet Explorer.
Ensure that the language you require has been activated in the Web
browser (Tools - Internet options ... - Languages ... - [Language:] Move
Up).

Performing initial configuration

1. Open an Internet browser on your PC.
2. Enter the following IP address:

http://192.168.1.1/

.

3. The BizIP AD 20 login window appears.

Enter the administration password under

Password

(default:

123456

).

Click

Login

.

To make startup as easy as possible for you, a default configuration
is loaded when you connect a telephone. You can always change
this configuration data (the phone number, for example) later.

The initial configuration described here is an example for the follow-
ing application:

ISDN multi-device connection

Internet telephony provider Sipgate
