Replacing a telephone

Administration on the PC

Device Management

Replacing a telephone

1. Select the telephone to be replaced from the list.
2. Click

Replace Device

3. Confirm the warning message indicating that the telephone is in the

online status. The message

Phone save to disconnect

appears in the

telephone display.

4. Disconnect the power supply and LAN cables on the telephone to be

replaced.

5. Connect the replacement telephone

Page 12.

6. Click

Refresh Device List

to display the current data.

The properties of the previous telephone are automatically transferred to
the replacement telephone.

To ensure that the telephone configuration can be transferred to the
replacement device without any problems, only telephones of the
same type should be used as replacements.

For information on changing the phone number manually, see
