Changing the Number of Retry Attempts for Fax Overflow
Printing
If you have purchased and installed a fax enabling system expansion card, your Office Phone-
Mail system provides temporary fax overflow storage for incoming fax documents that cannot
immediately be processed by the fax machine (for instance, because it is busy). Periodically,
Office PhoneMail will attempt again to route such documents from the fax overflow mailbox to
the fax machine, until either a successful connection is made or the permitted number of un-
successful retry attempts has been exhausted.
As system administrator, you specify both the number of times Office PhoneMail should attempt
to send fax overflow documents to the fax machine, and the interval between these retry at-
tempts. The default number of retry attempts for fax overflow printing is 3. You can specify any
number between 1 and 3.
