Changing System Settings

To change the Call Progress Tone Plan:
1.
Log into your mailbox and access the system administration menu.
2.
Access the Maintenance Options menu by pressing
. Office PhoneMail will prompt
you for the Maintenance Password. Enter the Maintenance Password,
(Maintain).
3.
Enter the parameter number to change. Enter
.
4.
Office PhoneMail will play the current value of the Tone Plan ID number.
5.
To change the Tone Plan ID number, enter a new value from the table above. Enter all
values as 2-digit numbers.
6.
To accept the new Tone Plan ID number, press
. If you accept this value, the Office
PhoneMail will automatically end the administration session by hanging up. Upon
hang-up, Office PhoneMail will restart, and automatically install the new tone plan.

Resetting a System Parameter to its Default Value
At any time, you can reset a changed system parameter to its initial default value.

To reset a specific system parameter:
1.
Log into your mailbox and access the system administration menu.
2.
Elect to perform Maintenance Administration procedures by pressing
.
3.
At the system prompt, enter the maintenance password:
(MAINTAIN).
