Empty cookware and thin-bottomed cookware
Do not heat up saucepans or frying pans when they are
empty, and do not use thin-bottomed cookware. If you
do, the cookware may heat up very quickly and the
safety cut-out may not be activated in time. This may
cause the base of the cookware to melt and the glass-
ceramic hob may be damaged. Never touch cookware
when it is hot. Switch off the cooking zone. If the hob no
longer works once everything has cooled down, call the
after-sales service.
Pan detection
Each cooking zone has a lower limit for pan detection.
This depends on the diameter of the ferromagnetic area
of the cookware and the material from which its base is
