During the Examination
During an examination, you can correct registration data, begin a new study,
select a different transducer or imaging mode, optimize the image, print and
store images, activate the measurement function, and view the patient
report.
Correcting Registration Data
You can edit entries in the Patient Registration form (except the Study
field) at any time during the patient examination. The study type you select
determines the exam type used during the examination. You cannot change
the study type during an examination, but you can begin a new study.
Images stored before you correct registration data may contain incorrect
image text (such as the original, incorrect patient name).
Note: Registration data received from a connected HIS/RIS (Worklist) server cannot be
corrected using the
Patient Registration
form.
To display and edit the current Patient Registration form:
1. Press the Patient key located on the keyboard or select the
Patient Registration shortcut button at the bottom of the screen.
The system displays the current patient's registration form.
2. Select Correct at the top of the form.
3. Use the keyboard to update your entries.
4. Select OK to save the changes. To exit the Patient Registration form
without saving changes, select Cancel .
