5.3 Wall mounting

SCALANCE W1788-x / W1748-1

Operating Instructions, 03/2022, C79000-G8976-C484-05

Prepare the four drill holes for wall mounting. For the precise dimensions, refer to the

section "Dimension drawings (Page 87)".
Secure the mounting plate to the wall with four screws

. Note the direction of the

holding plate ("TOP").

Note

Depending on the mounting surface, use suitable fittings.

Note
The holding plate must be securely fastened

If the holding plate is not securely fastened, the holding plate may fall with the device.
The mounting material must be capable of supporting at least four times the weight

of the device and the holding plate.

The mounting plate has four key-hole brackets for hanging up the device. The

mounting material for securing to the base is not supplied with the product; see

Accessories. (Page 24)
