4.3.3.
Mounting the connector module
There are fully threaded through-holes (4) for fastening the connector module to the housing.
There are LEDs on the connector board that indicates the status of the camera modules. Refer
to Ranger3 Operating Instructions for a description of the visual interface. You can use optical
fibers to guide the light from the LEDs through the protective casing.

Description of the laser connector

5-pin laser connector
On the connector board there is a 5-pin connector intended for powering and controlling a
laser. The connector is located on the right side of the board with the connector interface
opening to the right. The connector is dimensioned for AWG32 to AWG28 wires.
There are two power supplying pins on the connector. Pin 1 is connected to the external
voltage supply through pin 17 on the P/IO connector. Pin 5 is an internal power (5V) supply.
Use a JST type connector (SH family, 5 circuits) for connecting to the laser connector.
