If the glass lid is dirty, it is recommended to clean it carefully with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) on a
cleaning wipe. Other solvents can:

Contaminate the glass

Attack the resin and sealant

Degrade reliability.

Cleaning with fluid might leave staining. Use less IPA to reduce the residue but use enough IPA
to not damage the surface because the wipe is too dry. Clean the sensor in an ESD safe

protected workstation wearing an ESD wrist strap. Do not touch the cover glass with fingers or
anything other than a cleaning wipe.

1.

Lay wet wipes on the sensor, and wipe from one side to the other.

2.

Wipe very gently, do not rub the surface.

4.3.1.

Mounting the front module

There are precision mounting holes (2) on three sides of the front module. These mounting
holes are designed to support precision pins on the housing. There are also threaded
mounting holes (1) for fastening the module to the housing with screws.

During operation the front module produces excess heat. To ensure efficient heat transfer, the
front module must be tightly fastened to the metal housing in which the kit is integrated. Use
the threaded mounting holes (1) to fasten the front module to the housing.

4.3.2.

Mounting a customized lens holder

There are two precision mounting pins (3) on the front module. These pins ensure an accurate
mounting of the lens holder that is designed by the integrator.
