Parameter
Function
Use
Use temporary gain offset
Temporarily adjust the gain
factor automatically for the
next image capture.
Device did not find a position‐
ing mark in the previous image.
Compensate for slight contami‐
nation or overexposure in the
field of view. If adjusting the
gain factor leads to the posi‐
tioning mark being found, the
gain factor is used until contin‐
uous measurement is deacti‐
vated. When continuous meas‐
urement is deactivated, the
gain factor is reset.
If continuous measurement is
not activated first for position‐
ing marks in the field of view,
do not use the temporary gain
offset. If the gain factor is
used in this case, undesirable
image brightness fluctuations
can occur.
Tolerance range X [mm]
Tolerance zone Y [mm]
(
Circle – target region
)
Set the size of the target
region.
For storage or retrieval, the
positioning mark must be
located in the target region.
The more accurately the size of
the target region corresponds
to the size of the positioning
mark, the more exact the posi‐
tioning is. This makes the sys‐
tem throughput slower, how‐
ever.
Required for the following
functions:
•
Use of digital outputs for
position determination
•
Once the positioning has
been performed, the green
feedback LED provides pos‐
itive feedback.
In evaluation mode 9 to 14,
the parameter defines the size
of the target region. Everything
outside the target region is
ignored in the evaluation.
Swap X/Y axis
Invert output values for the X-
axis and Y-axis.
Possible application: The
device has been installed in
the system in the lying position.
Preconfiguration application
Set the type of positioning
mark (hole or reflector).
The parameter is only relevant
for single-deep applications.
Define whether holes or reflec‐
tors are used as positioning
marks.
