Installation
A correct meter setting and installation is vital for proper meter diagnosis functionality and
meter performance. Hence, further information on the installation and configuration of
adjacent piping upstream of the meter is mandatory for proper diagnosis purposes.
In order to specify further details on the installation and upstream piping, proceed as
follows:

Click on “Installation” in the “Parameter Modification” menu

Specify the meter orientation: horizontal or vertical
3
Specify the upstream piping configuration
Choose a setting, that is most similar to the meter installation. If you are unsure about a
proper setting, please contact SICK for consultancy.

After having applied changes, proceed as follows:
1
Press “Write to Device” to update the meter with the new information
2
Click on “Close” to return to the “Parameter Modification” view
NOTICE:
Wet gas detection is automatically disabled when changing the meter
orientation from horizontal to vertical.
