In certain cases, the bottom bead will remain
adhered in its seat even though the bead has
already been broken.
Should this occur, use the bead lifter disc,
gripping the relative handle firmly (fig. 36a).
Insert the disc between the bottom bead and
the rim (fig.36b), keeping the disc pressed
against the rim.
Rotate the turntable clockwise while simul-
taneously lifting the disc using the lever until
the bead is completely broken (fig. 36b).
WARNING
6 Lubricate the bottom bead and the rim gener-
ously.
7 Raise the bead lifter disc further, gripping firmly
with the handle (fig. 36a), to bring the tyre bead
level with the rim well (see Fig. 37).
8 Using the bead lifter lever, bring the bottom
bead over the half-moon shaped part of the
head (see Fig. 38).
9 While holding the lever down (Fig. 39), start ro-
tation and continue until the tyre is completely
demounted.
10 Move the PT 150 E arm and the tyre changer
arm away from the working position.
11 Remove the tyre from the turntable.
