5. USAGE
Do not use the PT 150 E for any use other than its intended application.
The PT 150 E may only be installed and used on the specific machines for which it is
intended. For all tyre mounting/demounting procedures not specifically described,
refer to the tyre changer use and maintenance manual. Follow the instructions for
bead breaking given in the instruction manual included with the tyre changer.
5.1. PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Check that the device functions correctly before using:
1. Operate the pneumatic control upwards: the arms must
move upwards.
2.
Operate the pneumatic control downwards: the working
arms must move down.
If you notice some anomaly in the operation DO NOT use the tyre changer and call
the technical assistance service immediately.
5.2. CLAMPING THE WHEEL
- To clamp the wheel internally on the teeth, follow the
normal procedure described in the tyre changer operator
manual.
- When clamping the wheel externally (also using the
plastic protectors for the clamp and slider, if necessary),
proceed as follows to facilitate the procedure with the
PT 150 E unit:
