Mounting the winch and cover to the winch mounting tube put a flat washer on a 3/8 X 1 hex bolt and
with the cover slid over the winch insert the bolt thru the slotted hole in the winch and the cover and into
the mounting tube and secure to the inside of the tube with a flange lock nut. Place a flat washer on a
3/8 X 3 hex bolt and insert it into the tube and out thru the other side thru the cover and winch and
secure on the winch with a flange lock nut.
To mount the winch assembly place a 3/8” flat washer on a 3/8 X 4 1/2" hex bolt and insert into the top
hole in the winch post from the inside out. Repeat the process for the next hole down on the winch post.
Align the holes in the winch mounting tube with the bolts just inserted in the winch post and slide the
tube over them and secure with flange lock nuts. Tighten the bolts holding the winch mounting tube to
the winch post. Align the winch and cable with winch post and tighten the winch and cover to the
mounting tube. Place the wheel on the winch drive shaft and secure with the winch spring and handle
nut.
The spinner knob will be assembled by inserting the 3/8 X 3 carriage bolt into the large end of the
plastic knob and securing with the tapped washer. Insert the assembly into the hole in the wheel and
secure with a 3/8” hex nut.
