7) Disassembly,

inspection

and

reassembly of bearing holder

Disassembly and inspection

Center bearing

(1) Remove the bearing holder, and replace the metal if

peeling, melting, uneven wear, or improper contact is
noticed.

(2) Measure the oil clearance of the crankshaft center journal

and metal using a plasti-gauge.

(3) If the oil clearance exceeds the service limit according to

the result of the measurement, replace the metal and/or
clank shaft.
