(1) Adjusting developing doctor clearance

Remove the four screws securing the toner hopper and the
developer tank and 5-pin connector, to separate the toner tank
hopper from the developer tank.

Loosen the four screws

securing the DV doctor (2 at the front

and 2 at the rear frame).

Insert 0.05 mm clearance gauges at positions 50

∼

80 mm from

the end of the DV doctor.

Press the DV doctor in the direction indicated by the arrow, and
tighten the DV doctor fixing screws (4 screws both at the front and
rear frames).

Make sure the clearance is 0.55+0.03-0.03 at the positions 50

∼

80 mm from both ends of the DV doctors.

Note: Use caution not to damage the DV doctor or MG roller

when inserting clearance gauges.
