Handset Settings
z You can set the following items by touching [ ] of Screen lock.
Items to be displayed may differ depending on the settings in
Screen lock.
„ Make pattern visible: Display tracks of the entered pattern
with line.
„
Automatically lock: Set how long it takes the touch panel to
be locked.
„ Power button instantly locks: Set whether to lock the touch
panel regardless of the time set in Automatically lock when
you turn off the display by pressing

.
„ Lock screen message: Set for the message to be displayed
on the lock screen of the touch panel.
z
If you forget the pattern/lock number/password, contact a
docomo Shop.
Unlock the screen when activating the handset
z
If you set Screen lock to an item other than [None] or [Swipe or
Touch], you can set whether to unlock the screen when the
power is turned on.
z
If you enter wrong patterns/lock numbers/passwords 10 or 20
times in a row when turning on the power and unlocking the
screen, you cannot enter them until turning the power on again.
Do not forget the unlock method you have set, since the
handset is initialized if you enter wrong ones 30 times in a row.
[Smart Lock]
z When using Smart Lock, touch and hold the unlock icon such
as [
] in the lock screen of the touch panel to temporarily
disable Smart Lock.
y If Batch change lock screen/ home application is set to
[AQUOS Home]/[AQUOS Kantan Home], touch the unlock
icon such as [
] to temporarily disable Smart Lock.
[Unknown sources]
z Apps you download from the websites may be of unknown
origin. To protect your handset and personal data, download
apps only from trusted sources such as Google Play.
[Trusted credentials]
z
If you delete a certificate, you cannot refer to the certificate
from [Trusted credentials] but it can be referred to from other
functions. If you want to delete the certificate completely, carry
out Clear credentials.
[Clear credentials]
z Settings for VPN are also deleted.
