Belts tension

For perfect functioning of the machine, the belts that move the axes must always be in tension properly; the procedure to tension the belts is the same fo all three of
them: loosen the screws of the stepper on which the belt works, and move the engine to get the proper belt tension; then tighten again the allen screws.

Checking of proper ventilation

Your XXL+ is equipped with three cooling fans dedicated to the electronic panel, located in the lower left on the front side and on the left side: you will notice that they
turns on as the printer is turned on. You should ensure that dust and other residues do not block the forced ventilation of the electronics, stopping also the functioning of

the fans.

Behind the stepper motor of the extruder there is a cooling fan dedicated to it: also this fan is vital for the proper success of prints; if not adequately cooled, the engine

transmits the heat to the cogwheel of the, which in turn heating the filament itself loosing efficiency in dragging it. There is also a dedicated fan to the cogwheel itself.

The fan of the extruder motor and the fan of the cogwheel must always turns on when the printer is working.

Firmware Update

Sharebot XXL+ uses a "Open source" firmware and then benefits from frequent updates. We advise you to periodically check our website for updates firmware, so keep your
Sharebot XXL+ in good working condition and potentially improved over previous versions. Instructions on how to upgrade are provided with firmware.
