19.1
Pulse Code Modulation (PCM)
The mobile EMS Compact control with integrated PCM module receives commands
from the stationary PCM module via the control rail. Control commands are transmitted
over ten half-waves; this effectively corresponds to 8 bits. The number of commands
that can be transmitted is 190. The ten half-waves result in the following transmission
times:
•
For 50 Hz: 200 ms
•
For 60 Hz: 160 ms
2 bits can be transmitted via the signaling rail.
Commands depend on the stationary PCM module used in the system and its settings.
Command setting is carried out while configuring/parameterizing the control.
