• The unit is not designed to extract juice from dry food, eg legumes (peas,
beans etc), or coffee beans.
1.7 Lack of hygiene
Lack of hygiene may result in germs forming inside the appliance:
• To prevent any dried-on food residues collecting inside the appliance, the
motor unit and all its accessory parts must be thoroughly cleaned before it is
used for the
fi rst time, and also immediately after each cycle of use.
1.8 Danger of damage to the unit
Incorrect handling of the appliance can cause damage:
• Always place the unit on a dry, level, non-slip surface, which is impervious to
contact with the rubber feet.
• Do not position the appliance on a hot surface or near any strong source of
heat.
• Do not let the power cord hang free, or over the edge of a table.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or tools other than those speci
fi ed in the
instructions to clean the unit.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than 15 minutes at a time, as there is a
risk of overloading or overheating. Allow the unit to cool down for 30 minutes
after each 15-minute cycle of use. It is then ready for use again.
1.9 In case of a defective appliance
A defective appliance can cause material damage and injury:
• Check the appliance for damage each time before use. If you notice any kind
of damage, please contact the manufacturers or their customer service, or
similarly quali
fi ed personnel. No not operate the appliance if the motor unit or
any of the accessory parts are defective.
• If the power cord of the unit shows any sign of damage, it must be replaced by
the manufacturers or their customer service to avoid any danger.
