The version of the service program is printed in the right bottom corner (in the
example above V1.2.7.3).
For direct serial or modem connection, select the PC serial port from the dropdown
list of available ports and press the corresponding button. When using a modem,
you will be asked for a telephone number to dial. If the first digit in this phone
number is zero, the software will pause after dialling the zero before dialling the
rest of the digits. If additional pausing is needed, apply "," between the digits.
If communication via LAN is used, you will be asked for IP address and port
number: The IP address and port numbers are typically set to default values
192.168.1.237 and 5001, respectively. If the IP address and port number need to
be changed, run the program with direct serial connection and configure TCP/IP
parameters as described in Section 4.3.8.
After the connection with the instrument has been established you are prompted to
start the program in User or Advanced mode.
Press <User mode> to start the program. This program mode provides a simplified
interface with limited access to the instrument setting parameters and should be
used during installation and normal operation of the instrument. A password is only
required for Advanced mode that enables full access to all the instrument setting
