Powering the mosaic-go

There are two ways to power the mosaic-go. The nominal input power supply is 5V.

•

From the USB connector. This allows powering the board from a PC or from a
standard phone-charger adapter. The supported USB voltage range is 4.5V-5.5V.

•

Using the VCC pin of the 6-pin connector. The supported voltage range is 4.75V-
5.5V.

It is safe to connect both supplies at the same time. Mosaic-go will use the source with the
highest voltage.

Note that the power consumption is about 50% higher than the power consumption of
the mosaic module alone (see section 3.5).
